The Institute for Democracy & Higher Education distills some of its research knowledge, expertise, and perspectives into IDHE Reports that address pressing issues in democracy and in higher education. The reports offer valuable insights for leaders and educators who are committed to improving colleges students’ political learning and engagement.
This report, authored by IDHE's Associate Researcher Kyle Upchurch and Director Nancy Thomas, offers insights into the many ways colleges and universities use their NSLVE campus reports to create change. In this report, we provide insights through an exploration of results from a 2018/19 national survey run by the institute as well as interviews conducted by the IDHE team with institutions across the U.S. during the 2018 election season.
