The Institute for Democracy & Higher Education (IDHE) has been awarded a $105,000 grant from Lumina Foundation to explore higher education’s unique role in educating for the health and future of an Inclusive Democracy.

IDHE is proud to share The IDHE Campus Boundaries Project, an interactive tool that allows users to examine whether student and minority student communities of interest have been “stacked, packed, or cracked” to impact their vote power. Users can also use this tool to identify campuses within or near district boundaries and explore the issue of districting in a higher ed context.
